The Rajinikanth and Jagapathy Babu starrer (earlier titled Kucheladu) has completed the talkie part and is now in graphics work. Producer Ashwini Dutt and director P. Vasu have now changed the title to Kathanayakudu. The film in Tamil will have the original title, Kuselan.
The film revolves around the life of a poor barber, played by Jagapathy Babu in Telugu and by Pasupathy in Tamil. Talking about the change of name, producer Ashwini Dutt said that Rajinikanth liked the new title immensely and hence they are confirming it. He appealed to the media not to make an issue out of it.
