The all-time classic films like Maya Bazar, Misamma, Paatala Bhairavi and others will soon be converted into colour from black and white. This conversion to colour has already been done for Hindi films like Mughal-e-Azam and Naya Daur.
The Hyderabad-based Goldstone technologies has acquired the rights for 14 films made by Vijaya Vahini films. All the 14 films will be converted into colour. The process is time consuming and expensive. The group also acquired the negatives of some Hindi and Kannada films.
The colour version of the films will hit screens in early 2008.
