The Tamil film Malaikottai, directed by G. Boopathi Pandian and produced by Vikram Krishna under the banner of J.K. Film Corporation with Vishal and Priyamani in the lead, is being dubbed into Telugu as Bhayya.
Producer Vikram Krishna says, 'We are planning to release the film in October. It is a never-before character for Vishal. The first half is devoted to comedy while the second half is full of action. There are several elements that would also attract Telugu audiences. The film would enhance the image of Vishal and Manisharma's music would be another highlight. There are five action scenes in the movie which would definitely attract the mass audiences.'
Devaraj, Ajay, Asish Vidyarthi, Urvasi are in the lead cast. Dialogues are by Shashank Vennelakanti, lyrics are by Veturi, Vennelakanti and Sahiti, editing is by Sashikumar, while direction is by Bhupati Pandyan.
