Alok Ranjan consultant Neurosurgeon of Apollo Hospitals said that Aarti Agarwal, well-known Telugu heroine, who was acting in a film Andala Ramudu with Suneel, was admitted in Apollo hospital Hyderabad on the morning of 16.2.06, with a head injury. Her family members accompanying her stated that she had fallen down the stairs in her house on the night of 15.2.06. Hospital sources confirmed that she is out of danger and that she was injured on her collarbone also. The exact manner in which she was injured is not clear. No police case has been filed since it was reported as a domestic mishap only. The surgeons at the hospital conducted a CT scan, found bleeding in the brain (Acute Subdural Haemotoma and brain contusion) and surgeons Alok Ranjan, B.G. Ratnam and Rahul Lath operated for removal of the same. The operation was successful, and she is reportedly out of danger.
