Sarita Patra, who had produced a film like the Nandi award winning Aa Naluguru under the banner of Prem Movies, is all set to start her next Telugu film soon. The film’s presenter, Premkumar Patra says, “We are bringing out a new film under our banner and the title of the film is Vinayakudu. Krishnudu, of Happy Days fame is our hero; Sonia, who played 'Sravs' in Happy Days, would be the heroine. We are introducing Saikiran Adavi, who worked as an associate with Sekhar Kammula as the director in this movie. After Aa Naluguru, we had produced a film in Kannada and again, we are starting a Telugu film now. Though we gave a patient hearing to the stories of many writers, we finally accepted this story. We liked the plot narrated by Saikiran. We are confident that the film would be different from routine films and at the same time, would have several commercial elements.”
Saikiran says, “My guru Sekhar Kammula used to say that the story is the life for any movie. Even if there are no big stars and noted faces in the film, one could make a hit film by scripting a tight screenplay and choosing a good subject. I am confident that I will prove myself and do justice to the trust the producers placed in me. Popular producer M.S. Raju is playing an important role in the movie and his character would be an asset for the film.”
Suryateja, Jyothi, Adarsh, Muralikrishna and others are in the cast. Camera is by P.G. Vinda, lyrics are by Vanamali, music is by Shyam Prasan, and art is by Satya Srinivas.
