Athadu, Mahesh Babu’s last movie directed by Trivikram Srinivas, was one of the high points in the director’s career. Though his directorial debut Nuvve Nuvve was highly acclaimed, it didn’t do any wonders at the box-office. Recently, the Pawan Kalyan starrer Jalsa also boosted Trivikram’s ratings in Tollywood.
Trivikram Srinivas is all set to direct Mahesh Babu in his next project. As Mahesh Babu and Trivikram are teaming after a long time, expectations are very high for this movie, tentatively titled Varudu.
Though the film is shrouded in secrecy, inside information says the film will be launched after Mahesh Babu’s birthday on August 9th. The film’s script was polished by Trivikram, who is now working on the dialogues in the second half of the movie. Insiders also reveal that the production plans include two long outdoor schedules and that the director has been scouting for locations in Rajasthan and Pollachi. The director plans to wrap up the major portion of the film in these two long outdoor schedules.
It is rumoured that the film will have a little romance with plenty of action, a true mass entertainer.
