Tabu is a versatile actress who has received many accolades for her roles in offbeat films, like Chandni Bar, Namesake and Cheeni Kum. Her glamorous courtesan role in the Balakrishna starrer Pandurangadu gave her a chance to portray negative shades.
Right now, she has bagged the title role in a JM Creations film under stunt master Vicky’s direction. The film’s title is Jailor, played by Tabu, and Madhusudan, of Pata fame, is the hero with Payal Shetty as heroine. Bangalore Ayyangar Bakery’s Srinivas Ayyangar is the film’s producer. Currently, the unit is on location in Rajahmundry.
