Swathi of Colours fame was recognized for her meaty roles in movies like Danger and Adavari Maatalaku Ardhaale Veerule. Her powerhouse performance in Subramaniyapuram, also spelt Subhramaniapuram, was critically acclaimed and the film went on to become the surprise hit of the season. The success of the film has turned Swathi into a highly sought-after actress overnight, both in Telugu and Tamil, so much so that she is being flooded with offers.
Swathi attributes her new-found status to the director of the film, Sasi Kumar.
