Sumanth is the hero in Vijay IPS being produced by Nattikumar under Visakha Talkies banner with K. Hanumantha Reddy making his directorial debut. The film has completed all formalities and is getting ready for release. Sumanth plays a sincere police officer in this movie.
The producer said, “We are making efforts to release the film in October itself. The director moulded the film in such a way that it would make the youth rethink about their bright futures.” The director explained, “Through Sumanth's character in the film, we will give a message to society that every one should respect the rule book. Anyone, whether he is a lawyer, doctor or police officer, should do their duty perfectly. In case they show apathy, we advise the people to revolt.”
Vijaykumar is playing the grandfather of Sumanth, while Satyanarayana and Jayaprakash Reddy played the crooked politicians who are ready to do anything to develop politically. Chandini, L.B. Sriram, M.S. Narayana, Annapurna, Jayalalitha and Jhansi are in the supporting cast. Camera is by A. Raja, editing is by Gauthamraju, music is by Lalith Suresh, and story, dialogues, screenplay and direction are by K. Hanumantha Reddy.
