Shooting of John Apparao 40 Plus, directed and produced by Kuchipudi Venkat under the banner of Black and White Act, with Krishna Bhagawan, Simran and Ruthika in the lead, is progressing well.
The film unit returned to India recently after canning two songs at Phuket island and Bangkok, Thailand.
Speaking on the occasion, director says, 'Krishna Bhagawan is an artiste with perfect timing. There is no looking back for him as a comedian. However, there were doubts about his ease in dancing among audiences. Hence, we took special interest in canning songs. Our hero showed fantastic ease and mixed entertainment even in dances. We shot a key scene on Simran and Krishna Bhagawan besides two songs. Instead of routine songs, we moulded them based on the concept. The canning of songs would remain a highlight. We are planning to can a song on the lead pair at Ramoji Film City from January 4, with which we will wrap up the shooting. We are planning to launch the audio on January 8 and the film in the third week of January.'
