The Dubai schedule of Somberi, directed by Jonnavittula Ramalingeswara Rao and produced by Yerramilli Venkat Rao on the banner of Rao Sen Films with Ali as hero, was completed and the unit is back at Hyderabad.
Some key scenes were shot in Dubai including one song, 'Surru Surranakuraa… Sureedaa...' rendered by Shankar Mahadevan. The song, featuring Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam, Ali, Srinivasa Reddy and Duvvasi Mohan, choreographed by Krishna Reddy, is expected to be the main highlight of the movie.
The producer expressed his confidence in the director. He is sure the film would provide wholesome entertainment to all. A major part of the film was shot in Srikakulam, Movva, Kuchipudi, Puligadda, Avanigadda in Krishna district, besides Ramoji Film City.
Tanikella Bharani, M.S. Narayana, A.V.S., Jayaprakash Reddy, Gundu Hanumanta Rao, Jeeva, Raja Ravindra, Gundu Sudarshanam and others are in the cast. Camera is by M.V. Raghu, editing is by G.G. Krishna Rao and music is by Mano.
