Sombheri, subtitled obhanaaniki Kuda Baddhakistaadu directed by Jonnavithula Ramalingeswara Rao is produced by Yerramilli Venkat Rao under Rao Sen Films banner starring Ali and Ruksha. It has recently been awarded the Censor certificate.
The producer informed, “The film has a great message within an equally good story, accompanied by some good comedy. Ali has given a good performance; only he can carry off a role like this. We have canned a song with Ali that talks of the difficulties faced by Indian labourers. Shankar Mahadevan has sung the song to melt our hearts and it will be a highlight.”
Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam, Srinivasa Reddy, Duvvasi Mohan, Tanikella Bharani are in the supporting cast.
Camera is by M.V. Raghu, editing is by G.G. Krishna Rao and Mano has composed the music.
