After the directional debut with Johnny (2003), Power Star Pawan Kalyan is all set to direct Sathyagrahi, which is likely to commence from January 2009 as soon as Pawan Kalyan completes his most-awaited flick Puli.
Pawan, keen to direct this long-pending project since the subject is close to his heart, is now giving finishing touches to the script. He will play the lead role and direct the film. A.M. Ratnam will produce the film which will have musical score by A.R. Rahman and cinematography by P.C. Sreeram. Debutant Nikitha Patel, a model from Mumbai, has been finalized as the main heroine opposite Pawan who will play a cop in the film, produced by Singanamala Ramesh under the banner of Sri Kanaka Ratna Movies. Pawan Kalyan is currently busy shooting his upcoming venture Puli, being directed by S.J. Suryah.
