Erstwhile famous actress B Saroja Devi has just been conferred with Doctorate from Bangalore University.
She has acted in over 250 films in various languages. She has acted with Hero's right from MGR, Shivaji Ganeshan, NTR, ANR, Rajkumar and shined like a lone star in the industry.
Expressing her happiness while receiving her Doctorate, she said that these awards brings actors and viewers all the more closer.
The hard work and pain with acting is wiped off with these appreciations. She also credited the effort by actors in fulfilling their role by the hard work and fetch success for them and to the films.
Twice she was conferred with Regional Awards. After the release of 'Mannadhi Mannan' with MGR, she was offered in 30 films at a stretch.
A period where one had to work for 20 hours of hard work.
