GK Films Corporation hit jackpot with young star Vishal’s previous film before Thimiru – Sandakozhi. The film was extremely well taken and did so well that it crossed 200 days of running in theatres!
Last night, the team of Sandakozhi celebrated their 210 days of running in theatres across the region, by throwing a gala dinner party at the Le Meridien hotel in Chennai.

As a token of gratitude and congratulations, the producers of Sandakozhi – GK Film Corporation, spearheaded by Mr. G.K. Reddy and elevated by the dynamism of his son Vikram Krishna (Vishal’s brother) – gave away congratulatory shields and mementos to everyone who was instrumental in the success of the film, from the entire crew and team of technicians to designers and ad agencies.

It was a star-studded occasion with the who’s who of the industry present. Some big names seen were Khushbu, Sneha, Trisha, Vishal’s friend and co-star Reema Sen, “Kaadhal” Sandya, Jayam Ravi, Sibi, Mr. AVM Saravanan, Srikant, producer Mr. P.L. Thenappan, Namita, Lakshmi Rai, Tejashree, Raghuvaran and many more. On stage was the key team of Sandakozhi, including cinematographer Nirav Shah, Vikram Krishna, star Vishal and actor-director Parthiban.
Almost all the big names mentioned also spoke a few words on stage and everyone spoke highly of the talent of actor Vishal and the great working methods of the GK Film Corporation. Everyone agreed that Vikram Krishna and his team have become a force to reckon with.
Post the giving-away of mementoes, Vishal and Vikram Krishna threw a private party at Flame – Le Club on the premises and a sumptuous dinner for all present within the ballroom itself.
