Samrajyam stars Srihari, directed by Dwait Veeru (aka Veeru K. of Aaro Pranam fame) and produced by Mutyala Anjaneyulu under Siddhi Vinayaka Films banner. Mutyala Anjaneyulu had earlier presented films like Girl Friend and Seema Sastry.
About the film, Srihari said, “The story has Rayalseema as the backdrop and the storywriter has penned a different type of story which attracted me. It is an action-entertainer with some novelty.”
The producer said, “Shooting will be at Chennai, Ooty, Rameswaram and several other places; it will be completed within two more schedules in June and July. We aim to release the film by August.”
Aadi, Sameeksha and Malavika are starring in the lead; Chalapati Rao, Brahmanandam, Dandapani, Sivareddy, Kalyani and Farah are the supporting cast.
Deva has composed music for lyrics penned by Bhaskarabhatla, Kandikonda and Kaluvakrishna Sai. Swamiji-Vijay has written the story, Ram-Lakshman is the stunt director and camerawork is by Rajendra. Vetaran Ramgopal Reddy is the editor.
Regular shooting would begin from May 12.
