Samardhudu, directed by Arjun (an associate of E. V. V. Satyanarayana and B. Gopal) presented by Narahari Vijaykumar Reddy, produced by Akula Suresh Patel and M Venkata Reddy under Devika Productions and Orange Frames, stars Raja and Sanjana of Bujjigadu-fame with Krishnam Raju in a pivotal role. Over 60 percent of the movie is complete.
During a press meet the producers explained, “Over 60 percent of the scenes along with a song sequence was completed in the second schedule. Some scenes involving Krishnam Raju and a few romantic scenes between the hero and heroine were also canned. We are planning the third schedule between October 1st and 20th then we will fly the unit in November to some foreign locations to can the remaining songs.”
Vinod kumar, Brahmanandam, Venu Madhav, Jayaprakash Reddy, Jeeva, Krishna Bhagwan, Dandapani, Banarjee, Vizag Prasad, Panda, Harshavardhan, Jojo, Jayasingh, Sekhar, Sana, Hema, Surekhavani and Kalyani are the supporting star cast.
Srinivas Malkari has penned the dialogues with script assistance by Raju Vudimidi and G Suresh. Ram-Lakshman has choreographed the action sequences and editing is by Gautham Raju. Music is by V Rajasekhar, camera is by V Dattu, while story, screenplay and direction are by Arjun.
