Rasool, a well-known cinematographer, has worked for films like Nuvvu Nenu, Gaayam and many more noteworthy films. He later turned director with Okariki Okaru and went on to direct movies like Sangamam and Bhageeratha. These films, however, failed to make it big at the box office.
Recently, Rasool was the cinematographer for Pawan Kalyan's Jalsa. He has also been signed up to wield the camera for Surender Reddy's Kick with Ravi Teja as the hero. Surender Reddy himself is a cinematographer-turned-director, who has directed films like Athanokkade, Athadu and Ashok. Sai, a debutant, will be composing the music.
Kick is an action adventure flick produced by R.R. Movie Makers, with most of the shooting taking place abroad. The movie has a hefty budget of Rs. 20 crores.
