S.S. Rajamouli is to direct the second film of Ram Charan, son of Megastar Chiranjeevi, being produced by Allu Aravind under the banner of Gita Arts, with Kajal playing the female lead.
Shooting of the film was formally launched recently; it is basically a love subject with rebirth as its backdrop. The director is trying to portray how the failed love of a couple who lived some 400 years ago turns fruitful after several rebirths.
Director says, 'It would be different from several films that came on the Telugu screen with rebirth as their backdrop. Already, one song was recorded under the musical direction of M.M. Keeravani. The regular shooting of the film would begin from March 16 and the film would be shot at various historic locations of Rajasthan. Some action scenes were specially planned at Rajasthan. The unit would stay there for about a month.'
Dev Gill, Brahmanandam, Sunil, Rao Ramesh Rao, Sameer and others are in the cast. Story is by Vijayendra Prasad, dialogues are by M. Ratnam, styling is by Rama Rajamouli, camera is by Senthilkumar, action is by Peter Haynes, music is by Keeravani, and B.V.S.N. Prasad will be the co-producer.
