The audio of 'Rakhee' directed by creative director Krishnavamsi, presented by S Gopal Reddy and produced by KL Narayana on the banner of Durga Arts with Young Tiger NTR, Ileana and Charmme in the lead was released through Supreme Recording Company at a grand function held in Hyderabad on November 7.
Prominent film personalities including SS Rajamouli, YVS Choudary, Maganti Babu, D Suresh Babu, ML Kumar Choudary, EVV Satyanarayana, Kodali Nani , KS Rama Rao, Thammareddy Bharadwaja, Chandrabose, Suddala Ashokteja, Raju Harwani of Supreme audio, Mamata Mohandas, and others attended the function.
NTR says, 'I was upset after the flop of 'Narasimhudu'. I suffered a lot of agony following its failure. KL Narayana and Sureshbabu bailed me out of crisis. It gave me an immense satisfaction for doing a film to KL Narayana.
When Krishnavamsi narrated the story, I felt that I am going into my flashback in real life, which reminded me of my mother and sisters.
With that inspiration I did the film and it came out very well. I wish the film a big success.' Later, KL Narayana's daughters Kavya and Veda, S Gopal Reddy's daughter Sandhya tied the rakhees to NTR.
Then Ileana and Charmme also tied rakhees to S Gopal Reddy and KL Narayana respectively.
Kavya, Veda and Sandhya together released the audiocassettes. NTR released the audio CD and handed over the first copy to Mamata Mohandas. Devisri Prasad and his team rendered and danced to the songs in the film
