Directed by Shankar, the Rajni starrer Sivaji made new box-office records and became a cult film. Now the Shankar-Rajni team is revving up for their next mega-project, Robot.
Rumours are already circulating that the superstar will don twenty costumes in the film. The duo is paying extra attention to the details in conceptualising the get ups, which would be the USP of the movie.
Recently, the trend for big stars is to enact many characters in a movie. For instance, Kamal appears in 10 roles in Dasavatharam (also spelt Dasavathaaram) and Vikram, we hear, will be seen in 12 get ups for Mallanna.
Rajni’s 20-costume package has attracted a lot of curiosity within the industry and even the attention of the general audience (apart from his fans) has increased.
In the meantime, Rajni plays a seperstar in Kathanayakudu (Kuselan in Tamil) where he will be seen acting in various movies and so will get a chance to be seen in different costumes and roles.
