After Pandurangadu, Balakrishna is embarking on his next mega-budget extravaganza on October 9, which happens to be Vijayadasami. Krishna Prasad and Bhaskar Reddy will be the producers. The yet-to-be-titled movie will be launched with a formal puja and regular shooting will start the very same day.
Mahadev (S.S. Rajamouli’s assistant) is debuting as director through this prestigious movie. Though Rajamouli is known for his breathtaking action entertainers, Mahadev has decided to take a family entertainer with a role tailormade for Balakrishna and cater to the family along with having all the elements of a mass entertainer.
The young director is working on a very family-oriented movie from the first scene itself. Insiders say the director will not bring in any action sequences unless necessary.
Mani Sharma is composing music, while Priyamani has been signed on to be Balakrishna’s romantic interest.
The film is due for release next summer.
