Friends Colony, starring Anil and Poonam Singar, produced by U. Venkat Rao and directed by Achchana Srinivas has completed shooting and is now in DTS mixing stage. Director Posani Krishna Murali has a cameo role in this film which shows that if youth wants to achieve something, then no force can stop them. The film was conceptualised as an inspiration for youth.
The rest of the supporting cast includes veterans like Soni Charishta, Chalapathi Rao, Raghu Babu, Vizag Prasad, Jeeva, Satyam Rajesh, Lakshmipathi, Narasimharaju, C.V.L. Narasimha Rao, Tirupati Prakash, Zakir, Toyaj, Annapoorna, Kavitha, Abhinayasri, Banda Jyoti and Hema.
The makers are working hard and fast to get the first copy ready and on screens as soon as possible. Though the makers were optimistic about releasing the movie in April, the film has been delayed due to some unforeseen circumstances.
Mahanagaramlo Siva Chandu, another of Poonam Singar’s movies is also wrapping up. Now it remains to be seen which of the two will hit screens first, giving this fresh-faced beauty her first chance at fame.
