Amidst concerns that many big shots who could afford it might start establishing personal or private armies, Pawan Kalyan announced the launch of his Common Man Protection Force (CMPF) on October 22nd, 2007. But after that, there was silence on that front, though he had stated that he had set aside Rs. 1 crore from his personal ‘savings of Rs. 1.32 crore’.
Now, as Pawan Kalyan is working hard at being a top rung police officer in his next blockbuster, Puli, we hear that the CMPF will be seen on screen. Not in Puli, but in the movie tentatively titled Satyagrahi, which is supposed to start shooting from January 2009.
Pawan Kalyan will direct this movie to be produced by Nookarapu Suryaprakasa Rao.
