Pardhu, the film starring Lawrence, Sneha, Nazar, Namitha, Saranya and directed by Maduravan, is getting ready for release. Pardhu is produced by Hitesh Jhabak, who has produced the Tamil hits Naan Avan Illai and Anjathey.
Shooting is almost complete and the movie is in the post-production stage. Insiders say Pardhu is playing to the market by incorporating all the elements of a mass entertainer - action, drama, sentiment, glamour and comedy.
Srikatha Deva has scored the music which may be released by the first week of May. There are seven songs, one of which is a remix of the 1980s song ‘Maasi Masam Aalana Ponnu…’ from Dharmadurai, pictured on Rajni and Gouthami.
Obviously, the producers must have paid Echo Audios a royalty to use this song in a remix. This song had been picturised in AVM Studios, where a colouful set was erected specially.
