Okkatavudam is directed by K. Muralikrishna, presented by LKS, and jointly produced by B. Amar, M. Sreenu and R. Sangeeta under the banner of NR9 Cinema and starring Kaushal and Hamsa Nandini. The remaining songs arescheduled for shooting from May 3 at Araku Valley.
The producers reveal, “A youth reaches Hyderabad to become a music director. A girl loses her heart to him. Does she win his heart? What are the problems faced by the youth? Does he succeed in achieving his goals? Answers to all these questions form part of the film. So far we have completed 80 per cent shooting of the film. Murali Sharma (Athidhi) will play the heroine’s brother and a martial arts instructor."
Surya, Rami Reddy, Malladi Raghava, Vijayabhaskar, Madhu, Raviprakash, Melkote, Kondavalasa Lakshmana Rao, Suman Setty, Alapati Lakshmi, Rupa, Puja Bharati, Kavitha and others are in the cast. Dialogues are by Chaitanya, lyrics are by Amar Vani, Bhagavatula Srikrishna, Amjad, music is by Valisha K. Sandeep, camera is by Gadiraju Srinivas, editing is by Menaga Sreenu, choreography is by B Amar and screenplay and direction are by K. Muralikrishna.
