The audio of Okkamagadu, directed and produced by Y.V.S. Choudary under the banner of Bommarillu, with Balakrishna, Anushka and Nisha Kothari in the lead and Simran in a special role, was launched amidst the cheers of Balakrishna fans in Hyderabad.
Director and Union minister Dasari Narayana Rao launched the audio and handed over the first cassette to K. Raghavendra Rao, while Raghavendra Rao unveiled the audio CDs and handed over the first CD to Nandamuri Ramakrishna.
Speaking on the occasion, Dasari says, 'The late N.T. Rama Rao, was a film artiste whom the Indian film industry is proud of. Though Y.V.S. Choudary could not direct him in his lifetime, he is doing a film with Balakrishna. I am sure that Balakrishna's performance would make audiences spell-bound.'
Balakrishna says, 'I have many hits in combination of Manisharma. The success of a film would depends on the music by 50 per cent. He gave fantastic music for the movie and Chandrabose gave good lyrics. There are very good punch dialogues in the movie. The title of the movie, though very heavy, was chosen to suit the subject.'
Director-producer Y.V.S. Choudary says, 'There are seven songs in the movie and we are planning to release the film on January 11. If Balakrishna did not give his nod for the film, I would have completely shelved the project.'
