Director cum producer YVS Choudary planned a film, 'Okka Magadu' on the banner of 'Bomarillu Vari', with Balakrishna, Anushka, Nisha Kothari in the lead and Simran playing a special role.
He had also formally launched the film at Annavaram by taking the muhurat shot on the steps of Annavaram temple.
The regular shoot of the film was delayed due to some special make-up tests which were done exclusively in the US to show Balakrishna in a different look.
Even Simran had also underwent some make up tests there. There was a lot of enthusiasm and interest among the audiences in general and Balakrishna's fans in particular on the details of the film.
Manisharma is giving tunes to the film. Generally, the producers plan the film at the end of the talkie part or somewhere in the middle of the film shooting. But YVS Choudary is planning to launch the regular shooting of the film with the canning of a song.
The film would be released on April 28.
