Neninthe, where Ravi Teja portrays the role of an assistant director, is touted as the unofficial memoirs of the film’s director, Puri Jagannath himself. D. V. V. Danayya is producing the movie under Universal Media.
The director is portraying the problems faced by promising and struggling assistant directors and film technicians in general, through his character. Siya is debuting as heroine with this movie. Over 70 per cent of the movie has completed shooting. The remaining talkie part and some action scenes will be choreographed by the end of October.
“Two songs are being canned on Raviteja and Siya at Switzerland in November. We are working hard to release the film in December,” stated the director.
The movie’s also proving lucky for Siya, as she’s already up opposite senior superstar Balakrishna of the erstwhile Nandamudri clan. She has reportedly been paid Rs. 15 lakhs as advance. Balayya’s movie, to be produced by nephew Kalyan Ram under his newly founded production house, will propel Balakrishna’s nascent political career with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) into the stratosphere.
