Neetu Chandra of Garam Masala fame is aiming for the big league in Tollywood. She played the second lead in Godavari and was later seen in Madhur Bhandarkar’s Traffic Signal, a hard-hitting drama about life on the streets of Mumbai.
Puri Jagannath, who has a good eye for casting good-looking actresses with great screen presence, has offered Neetu a chance in his next film Neninthe with Ravi Teja. Actresses like Asin, Anushka, Hansika and Rakshita owe their big breaks to Puri Jagannath.
This will be Neetu’s first time as a heroine, though she’s done other movies in Telugu as the second female lead. Though she has not been signed on yet, if she manages to bag this film, Neetu stands a very good chance of hitting the big time and then there will be no looking back for her.
