Directed by C.C. Srinivas, presented by M.V. Choudary and produced by M. Anjibabu and P. Kishorebabu under the banner of Mac Media and Blue Sky Entertainments, Nagaram with Srikanth and debutant Kaveri Jha in the lead, and Jagapatibabu playing a key role is expected to hit the screens in January.
Presenter says, 'Our film Nagaram is an out-and-out commercial entertainer. Srikanth dons a mass-hero role. Though Jagapatibabu would appear for a few scenes, his character has utmost importance.'
Giving details about the progress of the film, producers say, 'We have completed over 70 per cent of the talkie part shoot, besides two songs. The final schedule began on December 4. We will shoot three more songs and some important scenes during this schedule. Post-production works are also progressing simultaneously. We are planning to release the film in January. The audiences will not see the actors, but the characters they are playing, so real in their performance. The film would be very near to nativity.'
Director says, 'There is a very proximity between the title and the subject. The film would be quite hot and racy.'
Pradeep Rawat, Ajay, Ashok Kumar, Kalabhavan Mani, Brahmanandam, Narsing Yadav, Bhuvaneswari, Bhargavi, Meena and others are in the cast. Camera is by Sarat, music is by Chakri, dialogues are by Swamiji-Vijay, art is by Srinivasa Raju.
