Citizen, directed by Sai Prakash, produced by C.V. Reddy with Saikumar in the lead, is being made under C.V. Arts Pvt. Ltd. banner and will be a bilingual film.
Mumaith Khan is planning to set the screens on fire with a sizzling item number being shot from April 26 at the Rama Naidu Studios. The item number is being choreographed by Pradeep Anthony and the song is being filmed on young hero Prashanth and Mumaith.
Most of the filming is over but for this item number and two more songs that are yet to be canned. C.V. Reddy has said that the talkie portion of the film is over.
Hero Saikumar plays a successful cop and the plot deals with how he serves society in his capacity as a model citizen. Vaibhavi is the hero’s love interest. The director has kept in mind the image projected by Saikumar and has worked with it.
The movie’s subject reflects the happenings in day-to-day life. Ashish Vidyarthi, Jaiprakash Reddy and Ajay are the supporting cast
Citizen is planned for release at the end of May.
