Producer Maddineni Srinivasa Rao’s next flick, Manorama, being directed by V. Eswar Reddy of Mee Sreyobhilashi fame under Sri Pavitra Art Creations banner, has Charmee in the title role.
The recording of the film’s songs started at Koti Recording Studio in Hyderabad some days ago. Venigalla Rambabu’s lyrics for 'Swarganiki Short Route Love Marriage…'. set to music by Koti, was the first song to be recorded.
The director said in an interview: “We are planning to launch regular shooting from August 6. It will continue without interruption till September 30. We have prepared a very good story by taking a real-life incident. A special street set is being erected at Rama Naidu Studios at a cost of Rs. 40 lakhs for the movie.”
The music director stated in the same interview, “It is a different movie on the lines of Mee Sreyobhilashi. There are four songs in the film and all are situational.”
Padmasri is handling the story and dialogues, art is by Ashok, camera is handled by Adusumilli Vijaykumar, Ram-Lakshman have choreographed the action sequences and editing is by Marthand K. Venkatesh. V. Eswar Reddy has handled screenplay and direction.
