Comedian Mallikharjuna Rao’s sudden death from the silent killer leukaemia shocked many in the industry, particularly as the comedian never gave anyone a hint of the apin and suffering suffering he surely would have felt towards the end. A condolence meeting for Mallikharjuna was held at MAA office recently.
Speaking on the occasion, MAA President said that a room in the new MAA building would be named after Mallikharjuna Rao. Paruchuri Gopalakrishna, Gummadi, D. Rama Naidu, Jagapathy Babu, Srihari, Jayasudha, Roja, B. Gopal, Geetanjali, Annapoorna and many others took part in the condolence meeting and paid rich tributes to Mallikharjuna Rao.
