Kamal Haasan’s 1991 Tamil super hit Michael Madana Kamarajan now has a Tollywood namesake.
The movie, titled Michael Madana Kamaraju, directed by Nidhi Prasad, and produced by Mannem Venkataramana, Raju, Yogesh Patel and Praveen, with minor scripting changes from the original, will release on April 18th. It’s a comedy, just like its Tamil predecessor.
Srikanth, Charmi are in the lead roles, with Prabhudeva and Sunil in vital roles. Nagababu, Kausha, Asha Saini, Brahmanandam and Kovai Sarala complete the casting.
Kamal Haasan’s laugh riot has been established as the ultimate cult movie. Michael Madana Kamaraju too hopes to follow its glorious path.
