Directed by Teja, presented by K. Mahendra and produced by K. Chandrasekhar (Jeetu) under the banner of Gita Art Pictures, Lakshmi Kalyanam, with Kalyanram, Suhasini and Kaajal in the lead is all set for release on February 15th as Mahasivarathri gift. Presenter K. Mahendra says, 'The film is a story that runs between two families and two villages which would run with a complete rural backdrop. Director Teja moulded the film in an excellent manner. This would be a different film in the combination of Teja and Kalyanram. All the scenes and picturisation of songs would be quite novel. We are sure that the audiences, who like novelty would welcome the film. The scenes not only between the hero and heroine, but also between Sayaji Shinde, Raghubabu and Telangana Sakunthala would be another highlight. The audio of the film has become very popular already and the re-recording by Manisharma would also help a lot in making the film a big hit. Dialogues by Paruchuri Brothers, R.A. Krishna's camera work, Shankar's editing, Horsemen Babu's fights and choreography by Shankar would also be highlights on their own. We are very happy to release the film with over 100 prints to mark the Mahasivarathri festival.'
