Kotha Bangaru Lokam, starring Varun Sandesh (of Happy Days fame) and debutante Swetha Prasad, directed by Srikanth Addala, has bagged a clean 'U' certificate and is now ready for release. The movie is produced by Dil Raju.
Speaking on the occasion, the producer explained, “The compliments given by the Censor Board members gave us good relief and the satisfaction of emerging victorious in an examination. Srikanth narrated the story long ago and it took almost two years to complete the film in all respects. I arranged a premiere for all my well-wishers and prominent film personalities in Telugu film industry. Everyone told me that the first half is extraordinary and the climax is unexpected. According to them, the comedy will be a highlight of the film and the lead artistes are perfectly suited to the subject. We are releasing the film on October 9 and we hope that we will get the same response from general audiences.”
Cinematographer Chota K. Naidu explained, “I watched the complete film during the premiere. The director has created a wonderful visual treat in portraying a sensitive love story on the silver screen.”
Music director Mickey J. Meyer commented, “I got a very good opportunity to show my ability in background score. Sandesh gave good performance. We are sure that the film will become the best film of the year. Already the audio has become a chart-buster.”
Varun Sandesh said, “After Happy Days, I got a very good opportunity through Dil Raju and it is really a good character. The character has several shades.”
