Kotha Bangaru Lokam (KBL), a Dil Raju production, directed by newcomer Srikanth Addela starring Varun Sandesh of Happy Days fame and debutant Swetha Prasad is a teeny-bopper romantic film. KBL’s music composed by Micky J. Meyer was released by Aditya Music.
Allu Arjun released the first audio CD and handed it to Junior NTR, who formally purchased the first album. Prabhas presented the first audio cassette to director Bhaskar of Bommarillu fame.
Many luminaries of the Telugu film industry such as Dil Raju, Srikanth Addela, Mickey J. Meyer, lyricists Sirivennela Seetarama Sastry, Anant Sriram, the young and debut team of playback singers such as Tammareddy Bharadwaja, Boyapati Seenu, Rao Ramesh, Vamsi Paidipalli and the hero Varun Sandesh and many others attended this glitzy function.
Two of the songs were sung live on the dias and the remaining songs were screened for the gathered audiences, with each one being unveiled by the star guests. It was interesting to note that the colour green dominated all the videos of the songs that were screened.
