Over 60% of the shooting of King, starring Nagarjuna, Trisha and Srihari, directed by Srinu Vaitla and produced by D. Sivaprasada Reddy under Kamakshi Kala Movies banner has been completed so far.
Mamta Mohandas has jazzed up the movie with her sizzling role as the second heroine alongside Trisha. At a recent press meet, the producer said, “Our unit is now in Ooty to can a song between September 27 and October 4, besides a chase sequence. Another schedule is planned from October 5 to November 4 at Bangalore, where we intend to shoot some important scenes on the lead artistes. We will wrap up the shooting after canning some song sequences in Turkey and Dubai. We are planning to release the film on December 18. Nagarjuna will appear as a young entrepreneur, credit card agent and as a Dada. His character will have three different dimensions and there lies the suspense.”
Deepak, Brahmanandam, Sunil, Venu Madhav, Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam, Krishna Bhagawan, Chandra Mohan, M.S. Narayan, Jayaprakash Reddy, Sayaji Shinde and Supreet are in the supporting star cast.
Kona Venkat and Gopi-Mohan have put their best efforts into the story writing with dialogues by B.V.S. Ravi. Devi Sri Prasad has composed the music and Prasad Murella has captured Ram-Laxman’s superb action choreography with his excellent cinematography. Screenplay and direction are by Srinu Vaitla.
