Though he was introduced to films with his father Kodandarami Reddy-directed Godava in 2007, actor Vaibhav shot to fame with his childhood friend Venkat Prabhu’s second film Saroja last year. After Saroja, he signed two more films: Venkat Prabhu's Goa in Tamil and G. Nageswar Reddy's Kasco in Telugu.

Kasco, starring teenage beauty Shwetha Prasad as heroine, has completed its entire post production recently and the makers plan to announce the release date soon.

This action-packed romantic entertainer revolving around a young man who tackles a rowdy and hence faces a lot of problems, is produced by A. Bharathi under the banner of K Films. Gauri Pundit plays an important role in this film, which has music by Premji. Also in the cast are Saleem Panda, Jaiprakash Reddy, Tarzan, Azad, Sravani and others.
