Kamalini Mukherjee, who made her debut in 'Anand', has proved to be a successful heroine with 'Godavari'. However, she has been maintaining a low profile despite both her Telugu films proving hits.
Now Kollywood has welcomed her and cast her opposite Kamal Haasan in 'Vettaiyadu Vilayaadu' which also turned out to be a hit. Now, other Tamil producers are after Kamalini and she reportedly signed on the dotted line for a Tamil film. It is learnt that Radaan Media of Radhika Sarat Kumar is producing a film which Priya is going to direct and Prithviraj will play the male lead.
