Kaluva, directed by M. Sridhar, presented by Master Jayadeep and produced by S. Harikrishna under Subhalakshmi Entertainers banner with Chakri of Nee Sukhame Ne Korutunna fame, with Rupa Kaur and Farha Khan in the lead, was launched in a residence in Hyderabad.
Director Srinivasa Reddy gave the clap, P.C. Reddy switched on the camera for the muhurat shot on Chakri and Farha Khan. Speaking on the occasion, director says, “Generally people compare a girl's eyes to a lotus. This is the story of a youth who went in search of a girl with big, lotus-like eyes. Basically, it is a suspense thriller. Regular shooting will start from April 22. We are planning to complete the first schedule by the end of April. The film would be wrapped up in May/ June.”
Producer says, “I am very happy that big artistes like Nagababu and Venumadhav agreed to act in our movie.” Music director Lakshman Sai says, 'There are four songs in the movie of which we have already recorded two songs.”
Chitram Shireen, Pruthvi, Ramjagan, Meka Ramakrishna, Mani, Swati, Puja, Abhinayasri and others are in the cast. Camera is by Dhanunjay, while M. Sridhar has taken care of story, dialogues, screenplay and direction.
