Kalidas, directed by Bharathiraja and produced by K..Lakshminarayana Reddy under the banner of Sri Lakshmi Srinivasa Pictures with Arjun and Kajal in the lead, is almost ready for release.
The film had completed shooting. Most of the post-production work and the DTS mixing is almost nearing completion.
The film is the product of the first-ever combination of the top director Bharathiraja and Action King Arjun. The audio, which was released into the market, is getting positive response. The film is being made simultaneously in Telugu as Kalidas, in Hindi as Cinema and in Tamil as Bommalattam.
The film has various thrilling scenes and suspense plays a key role in the development of the plot. Bollywood music director Himesh Reshammiya scores music while Nana Patekar plays an important role in a South Indian film for the first time.
It has a perfect combination of action, sentiment and comedy. Dialogues by Ghantasala Ratnakumar would be another highlight. The film is expected to release in the second half of November.
