J.D. Chakravarthy entered the film industry with a negative role. However, he turned into a hero after some time, then disappeared from Tollywood and went behind the screens to learn some tricks in the field of direction, directing a couple of films which failed to make a mark.
Now, he is busy completing Homam, a Telugu film under his direction, with Jagapati Babu as hero; JDC too has a powerful role in the movie. He will be playing a negative role for a Tamil film, Sarvam, in which Arya and Trisha are in the lead.
Sarvam is being directed by Vishnuvardhan, who recently directed the super hit remake of Billa with Ajit. This is not the debut film for J.D. Chakravarthy in Tamil. Earlier, he played the role of a LTTE extremist in Kannattil Muttamittal, a Tamil film directed by Mani Ratnam, whose Telugu dubbed version is Amritha.
