J.D. Chakravarthy’s debut directorial venture, Homam, starring Jagapathi Babu as a macho cop, with Mamta Mohandas in an eye-popping role, is all set for a worldwide release on 28 August. Recently, Homam’s audio was released at Goldspot Adlabs, Punjagatta in Hyderabad. J.D. Chravarthy, also known as Chakri, is Ram Gopal Varma’s protégé; in keeping with his background, he has come up with an intense action entertainer.
This film will premiere on August 27th evening at Vijaywada’s INOX multiplex. Interestingly, this premiere is not typically filmy where all personalities from Filmnagar are invited for a glitzy opening night. It is for the common movie-lovers of Vijayawada who would like to get a kick out of watching Homam a day ahead of the rest of the world.
Homam has also hit the news because famous producer Dil Raju bought the film for distribution throughout Andhra Pradesh. Madhurima, a fairly new face to Telugu films, has given a very passionate performance as the second heroine.
