Directed by writer-turned-director Madan (Pellaina Kothalo), Gunde Jhallumandi, hit the news recently as its satellite rights were sold for a whopping Rs. 2 crore, which is considered quite a record for a small budget movie with relatively unknown stars. Gunde Jhallumandi is a make-or-break movie for Uday Kiran, who had a good start but then his career got inexplicably bogged down. Aditi Sharma, the pretty curvaceous heroine, is yet another model from Mumbai who decided to kickstart her career in Tollywood.
Presented by Paruchuri Kireeti, produced by Paruchuri Sivaram Prasad under United Movies banner, the movie has some peppy melodies by Keeravani. Gunde Jhallumandi, much-awaited due to Madan’s off-beat treatment of his previous films, is getting ready for release on September 12.
