Post-production work is nearing completion for Gunde Jhallumandi, directed by Madan of Pellaina Kothalo fame, presented by Paruchuri Kireeti and produced by Paruchuri Sivaram Prasad under United Movies banner. Uday Kiran and Aditi Sharma, a former model from Mumbai, are the lead actors.
The shooting was completed recently. The producer said at a recent press meet, “The music of love will be forever young in our hearts. Our film focuses on this and Keeravani has scored some fantastic tunes which will be the highlight of the flick. DTS mixing work is in progress and we will soon announce the film’s release date.”
Navdeep released Gunde Jhallumandi’s music some time ago under Vel Music label and it has received a positive response among the public. Lyrics are by Chaitanya Prasad and Shiva Shakti Datta. The movie has also caused quite a ripple in the industry even before its release as the satellite rights of this small-budget film were sold for a whopping Rs. two crores. This is quite a record when we consider that neither the hero Uday Kiran nor the heroine Aditi Sharma have any significant box office fame, by which a movie would run simply because of the stars.
