Ghajini has headed north to Bollywood via Kollywood and Tollywood. Right now, a few scenes for the Hindi version are being shot at Ramoji Film City. Though it was the Telugu dubbed version and the original Tamil film directed by A.R. Murugadas with Suriya in the lead that was a hit, it is being remade in Hindi with Aamir Khan in the lead and no change in name.
Even though Aamir Khan has been seen sporting the Ghajini hairstyle, insiders say that the script has been tweaked to suit Hindi audiences.
Asin is still the main heroine and A.R. Murugadas has been retained to direct the Hindi version. While Aamir never takes up a project without researching it thoroughly, it remains to be seen whether Hindi audiences will accept the film and Asin.
Hope Ghajini can conquer India’s entire box-offices!
