Gayathri Rao was Apma (Aparna) in Happy Days. She impressed everyone with her role as a tomboyish character in the film. She later on put on a lot of weight and dropped out of the public eye.
Gayathri is now acting in a film directed by Kodi Ramakrishna. Nagababu plays the role of a police officer. Gayathri, who looks slim and beautiful in her latest media releases, plays the role of a TV reporter.
