'Flash news' has become an everyday phrase. Everything and anything is a cause for the news channels to start using the term. Now, Durga Mohan’s latest flick, directed by Ashok, will be titled Flash News. Navneet Kaur and Rajiv Kanakala are in the lead roles and Nagababu will play the role of an honest politician.
As the title indicates, the film deals with journalism and gives the message that in the right hands, journalism is a tool that can change society for the better. Rajiv Kanakala, who was critically appraised in Visakha Express, hopes this film will give him the critical mileage needed to propel him into the topmost ranks of superstars. “It sounded so promising when I heard the script. I knew that this script gave me plenty of scope for displaying my dramatic skills.”
